Game for iPhone and iPad to promote the new Gorillaz album. Basically the cool characters always looked like game heroes, so no surprise there. The only thing I don’t get is why we can’t play with the music?
Why not use your multitrack and facilitate consumers to create remixes bases on the beats, basslines, chords and vocals!?
Why don’t you use the brandessence of what you are? A cool innovative brand.
My associations with this band are merely graffiti, art, urban style… and not a hang-gliding guy that shoots on flying targets above the sea….?

This is probably the first advergame ever… originally on Atari 2600 I believe. Great mocking by Coca-Cola towards Pepsi. I wonder when Pepsi will strike back?
Burger King actually sold advergames for a little under 5 bucks in 2008 for Xbox… We are talking about games that contain ingame branding by Burger King… ! They were sold out.
Check out this interactive thriller about the future of our politics around energy. It’s a nice conspiracy story – if you have all Sunday (and enough interest in the future of the world’s existence ๐
It’s quite intriguing and technically well done! There are some mini-games you can play, but as with most of these ‘interactive films’ the mini-games do not add great value to the experience and are not all that relevant – unfortunately.
Submarine must have gotten a decent budget to build this – it looks amazing, behaves really well and the sounds design is great.
A very cool minigame to promote the latest song ‘Machine Gun’ by Noisia. This electronic rock really gives a good pumping vibe that helps to play through the game. Check it out here if your like.
